Baby Sophia enters the world

Sophia has the best parents, Ev and Sam who happen to be former wedding clients of ours. Often we do become friends with the brides and grooms that we photograph and that is the case with these two. We were so excited for them to bring their new addition to the studio. She did wonderfully for nearly three weeks old! I am excited to photograph her growing up. Here are a few favs:

sweet baby

This was the sweetest and most alert newborn! She let us photograph her for a full hour which is unheard of as far as tiny babies go. This was my favorite image from the day.

Jenna + Brian = Luke

Chris and I photographed Jenna and Brian’s wedding last summer at the Colony Hotel here in the Port. They came came back this summer with little Luke in tow. Now, isn’t he just the cutest! We tried for about an hour to get the little guy to smile, but he was not having it. I just love the photo of his Mom laughing up a storm at her wedding….are you laughing now Jenna? You should be… new parenthood is such a wonderful and yes, tiring time, but before you know it you are sending your baby off to Middle School as I did yesterday. So Brian and Jenna enjoy all the fantastic stages of his babyhood and we will get some smiles in October!!jennas.jpg

And baby makes 3

We first met Leah and Ryan in 2005 when we photographed their wedding in Kennebunkport. It was one of my favorites in the last 17 years because it was so colorful and happy and so much love between Leah and Ryan that it was very memorable to me. We have since photographed Ryan’s sister’s wedding and a friend of Leah’s as well. I was so delighted when they came in recently to have us photograph their first born son, Theo.
