Chris and I met with Jennifer and Ryan on Saturday in downtown Portsmouth to do some engagement photos and boy did we have some fun. This is my first of 2 posts for this session.We will be traveling to Florida to photograph their wedding in February and we are so excited! I loved it when Jenn said she had extra clothes in the car because she had seen on this blog that we like to get people wet. Well we didn’t want to disappoint so we had them jump in the fountain! These images have been manipulated with different photoshop actions for different effects.

We went out to Goose Rocks Beach last month to photograph Liz and Rick who live in NYC and will be getting married in Maine next summer. Liz’s parents have a home in Kennebunkport and they were engaged at Goose Rocks so we decided to photograph them there. There were many images I liked so it was hard to narrow it down to 4.

We were so honored to be asked by Ron Gagnon of Lasting Memories Video to photograph his daughter’s wedding. We have known Ron and his wife, Doris, for over 14 years as they videotaped our wedding in 1993. We have worked many an event with Ron and have enjoyed his company at the vendor table every single time. His family is so special and you could tell throughout the planning process how much he cares for his daughter and now son-in-law. They exchanged vows at St. Mary’s in Wells and had their reception at the Sheraton in downtown Portsmouth last Saturday. You could not have asked for nicer weather and my favorite image of the day is Jenn riding in the limo with her parents chatting behind her. We wish them all the best and thank them for making us feel so special on the day of the event!

Jesse and Tasha were wed in upstate Maine in August and we decided to give these two some Southern Maine images to add to what they had taken on their wedding day. After the wedding sessions are so much fun because there is no time limit or any stress about keeping the dress clean. Some photographers have been offering “trash the dress” sessions where they completely wreck the gown and do some pretty strange things. We decided to take Tasha and Jesse on a walk through Kennebunkport. We stopped at Bandaloop and had Tasha climb up on the bar and we stopped at Carrots and Co and had them pose with the VW bug Amy has in her store. This is the first post of a few of my favs, more to come later. Jesse was an amazing jumper and I think he may have a future in gymnastics if he ever wanted to. Thank you to Tasha and Jesse for spending some time with us on Monday afternoon! I must also mention that Tasha has a wonderful hair salon next to our studio called Studio 41.
