Check me out

I just started editing this wedding and came across this adorable photo of one of the flower girls checking herself out in the mirror. I just love it and Chris did a great job of capturing her.girlmirror.jpg

Emily and James

Emily and James had a great wedding in York in June. They are one of the sweetest and most connected couples I have met. Emily is such a thoughtful person and very good at details (see post below about details).  They had their ceremony at the First Parish Church in York Village and the reception followed at the York Harbor Inn. They were transported by the York Trolley Company and the beautiful flowers were from Calluna Fine Flowers in Ogunquit. Her gorgeous lobster cake(see below) was made by Gayle Forte at Let Them Eat Cake. I know they had a wonderful honeymoon and we wish them the best in the future and cannot wait for little baby Midgelys.brodskycompwed.jpg

our image on a cake topper

This was the first time I had seen a couple use a photo for their cake topper and they choose one of the engagement shots we took of them the previous month. It was very cute!caketop.jpg

Spinning on the beach

I had to post this image of Sean spinning Erin on the beach after their ceremony. I love the emotion in this one!spin.jpg

details,details,details

It is hard to believe this was almost one month ago and in that time, Chris and I have shot well over 10,000 images and I am trying to get through all the families, high school seniors, rehearsal dinners, weddings and we even photographed Senator Mccain at the Bush’s home yesterday(more on that later). I am going to post some of the details from Emily and James’s wedding because they were cool! The lobster motif was carried through the day and their candy bar was to die for, which was not surprising since Emily’s parents own the best candy store called Yummies in Kittery, Maine! I will post more from her wedding soon including my favorite church shot ever! brodskydetails.jpg

An officer and his bride

Sarah and Marc had an incredible wedding in York in June! They live in California and had planning help from Sarah’s parents who live in York. The flowers were gorgeous and provided by York Flower Shop, the venue was one of my favorites, York Harbor Reading Room and the event was coordinated by Melanie Bibbo of Blissful Beginnings in New Hampshire. It was very hard to choose just these images as there are so many that I love. Enjoy!goldmancomp5.jpggoldmancomp6.jpg

Matt and Molly have some fun

Matt and Molly will be tying the knot in late September and we were able to hang out with them at the beach a few weeks ago for some fun. It was hard to choose just a few from their photo session because there were so many cute ones. Molly has a background with the traveling circus, she was a professional clown and Matt has been hard at work on the front of our house, he is a mason and specializes in restoring old homes. They are a joy to be around and their wedding is going to be a blast!gillardcomp.jpg

Engagement session at York Beach

I am a bit behind on blogging because we are busy with weddings, engagement sessions and families on the beach right now. I wanted to post these shots of Sarah and Marc having fun on York Beach. I will be posting images from their wedding soon (we took these 3 days before the wedding because they live in California). You can tell by their expressions how in love they are!goldcomp.jpg

Totally cute kids at the beach
