Jen and Matt

Jen and Matt were married in July in Scarborough, Maine and it was such a colorful and fun celebration! I loved the men’s blue searsucker suits and Jen’s Vera Wang gown so much! They had a tented reception at The Inn by the Sea in Cape Elizabeth which was recently renovated and was just beautiful. I love the images in the church when the Priest called Matt by the wrong name and everyone cracked up. There are so many wonderful images from their wedding I had a hard time choosing what to post. Christian is a senior!

You know you have been in business a long time when kids you think of as babies are high school seniors! Chris went our with Christian to do a few shots at his workplace and some in the studio, he is such a cute kid!ames.jpg

Love these kids

We have been photographing these children since the twins were one and they are 6 this year! They are so full of life and lots of fun to be around. This year we had the added challenge of 2 dogs since they recently adopted the smaller one. I wonder why they are laughing so hard??? wood058.jpg

Splendid Seaside Celebration

Liz and Rick are one of the cutest couples we have met and their wedding celebration was just perfect. They exchanged vows at St Ann’s on Ocean Ave in Kennebunkport and they had their reception at the Nonantum Resort. Liz’s parents have a summer home near Goose Rocks Beach and Liz spent the morning getting ready there. Her Mom and Dad surprised her with the Rolls Royce to take her to the church, the other girls had to ride in the Intown Trolley, which is a lot of fun. Following their ceremony, Rick and Liz took a ride on the Pineapple Catch which is owned by Jon Martin and docked at the Nonantum Resort. Chris rode on the sailboat with the couple while I stayed on land to catch them arriving. Liz has the cutest grandmother and she kept dodging Chris all night, however, at the end of the evening they were best friends and I captured the last image of Chris and her having a laugh. The flowers and decor were delightfully done by Melissa at Fluerant. Overall it was a fantastic celebration and I hope to know the families forever.spraguecomp1.jpgspraguecomp2.jpgsprageucomp3.jpgsprageucomp4.jpg

High School Senior season is upon us

We are now in the middle of senior season and are photographing at least one high school senior a day. It is so much fun to meet the younger generation and get a feel for what’s hot now.  Lindsey was a pleasure to photograph and I even had my daughter Chloe along to help out, she really put Lindsey at ease by continuing to call her pretty, which she certainly is!  compsenior.jpg

More of Sean and Erin

I keep coming across cute photos from Sean and Erin’s wedding, like this one at Biddeford Pool.mokler0394.jpg

Sam and Aaron tie the know with butterflies

A major element in Sam and Aaron’s wedding was the butterflies.  They were everywhere from the invitations to the favors and all spaces in between.  I had never seen the guests release butterflies before and it was really a moving ceremony to see this. Aaron even had one linger on his finger for a while. The ceremony and reception took place at the Red barn at Outlook Farm in South Berwick which was a fabulous location and the scenery was breathtaking. Aaron and Sam had a friend with a vintage car which made for some great photos and they had 3 adorable flower girls who we shot all night long. Chris and I had a lot of fun photographing their wedding, to see the slideshow click herebailotcomp1.jpgbailotomp2.jpg.Sam had her horse come to drive the get away wagon.

These kids are too adorable!

We photographed the Walsh family yesterday in Biddeford Pool and these 2 were so cute! Can you stand the freckles? walsh042.jpg

The Dupuis Family

Chris and I have know Denise Dupuis for many years, she actually worked for us for a long time and started her own photography business several years ago. We have know her husband Tom for many years and we photographed their wedding way back when. Tom is a teacher at Kennebunk High School and I have heard that his students love him. Their daughter Katie is a lovely nine year old who will be entering 4th grade in the Fall. We had a lot of fun with them at Goose Rocks Beach last night!dupuis046.jpgdupuis060.jpgdupuis128.jpg
