The Bride gets a lift

I could not believe it when Jeff picked up his bride, Amy at their wedding! More to come from this wedding at the Wentworth By The Sea Country Club.smith0598.jpg

Spencer’s senior session

Chris photographed Spencer’s senior session in downtown Kennebunkport recently. I am trying to include a bit of all our types of photography on the blog and you should see more coming later today. I like the feel of these images, very casual.

Matt and Gena’s Falmouth wedding

Matt and Gena had a great start to their wedding day, Gena was floating in her pool and Matt and his groomsmen went shooting(with guns). The nice thing about having 2 photographers(Chris and I) is that we were able to cover both activities at once. I had a blast with the guys and Chris enjoyed hanging with the gals. The forecast for the day was not so good, it was Hurricane Hana day and it did make it’s way to Maine, luckily after all the outside photos were taken. The reception was held in Matt’s backyard and he was thrown into the pool of drinks at the end of the evening… a sight I had not witnessed before. Overall their event was so much fun and I am looking forward to seeing them in the future! Thanks for a great time!thebarge1.jpgthebarge2.jpg

Abby and Jason tie the knot at Outlook Farm

Abby and Jason live in Virginia, but are from the Wells area so they decided to have their wedding and reception in South Berwick at the Resort at Outlook Farm. The golf course at the Outlook is gorgeous and Abby and Jason had a wonderful day shared with great friends and family. Chris and I had photographed Jason’s brother’s wedding a few years ago and it was nice to see the family again. We will be photographing his other brother’s wedding in December which will be a treat! I loved many of the images from their day and I had a hard time narrowing it down to these. Enjoy!

National Constitution Center in Philadelphia

Here are a few images from the Liberty Medal Award dinner at the NCC in Philadelphia. We had a great time and we are thankful to Emilie Sommer of Emilie inc for helping us photograph the event.

Brothers at the beach

Thomas and Anthony had a blast finding shells at the beach with their Grandmother, Holly. I just love the image of Thomas with lipstick on his cheek from a stolen kiss. These boys are such a joy to be around and we had a great time with them.

The Plourde Family at the beach

We have had the pleasure of photographing Lana,Paul and Parker a few times in the past two years and it is always an adventure. Parker was so thrilled to be at the beach chasing seagulls and watching all the adults try to keep up with him. He has an adorable look and I wanted to take him home, Lana wouldn’t let me…

intimate wedding in Ogunquit

When Erin called to ask if Chris and I could take photographs at her small wedding in Ogunquit she explained that it would be her, her partner and their 3 children. When we got to the Anchorage Hotel in Ogunquit we were greeted with a few extra folks and their cameras. It seems that Mike’s family and Erin’s Mom found out about the wedding and decided to crash it! So we had a great time dodging point and shoot cameras and documenting Erin and Mike’s ceremony and we went down to the beach for some portraits. It was fun meeting everyone and we wish you all the best!
