Eve and Doug’s Garden wedding

Eve and Doug had a wonderful wedding at the Clay Hill Farm in Ogunquit a few weeks ago. It was the first wedding we had done there in many, many years and it was beautiful. The grounds are stunning and the setting for the ceremony was great for photography. The service was exceptional and the entire experience memorable. I am so glad we will be there again in July! The flowers were expertly done by York Flower Shop and Eve’s make-up applied by the uber talented Alisson Herrington. The dj was the great Greg Powers who we always enjoy working with! We were hired by Eve’s mom, Susan and she was so easy to work with that I was so glad to finally meet Eve and see what a great, relaxed person she was! Doug and his family were also a joy to work with. Here are a few favs from the day.

Look the sun!

With all the rain we have had in the last 2 weeks it was so nice to have a sunny evening to photograph the 5 Ewy children! We have been taking photographs of their eldest since she was a baby, she is now 14 and entering high school! Boy, I feel old! The kids were an absolute delight and the evening could not have been nicer, maybe a bit warmer, but it was great light! Here are a few favs and my absolute favorite is when we asked them to jump and the twins just stood there… too cute!

President Bush visits Cape Able

President George W Bush has been in town for the last few days and the boys (Chris and Brandon) have had a great time riding the trails around here. On his way out of town today President Bush stopped by Cape Able Bike Shop to see where his cool Trek Mountain Bike(complete with presidential seal and his name on the side) that Brandon built for him will be kept until his next visit. Here are some shots of the staff, Brandon giving him a tour and Marcio cleaning his bike to get ready for the visit.

Nicole and Jeff’s wedding

I first met Nicole and Jeff at Jess and Josh’s wedding last June(Happy almost anniversary). They are such a fun couple and we had a blast photographing their wedding a few weeks ago. i loved the school bus transportation for the guests, really cute! Other highlights were the flowers and the really awesome bridesmaids dresses, they rocked. The veil that Nicole wore belonged to Jeff’s mother and that was a special touch that really made the day! The dancing at this wedding was so creative and fun as well! Here are a few favs:

The Homa Family on Goose Rocks beach

We had some wild weather the other evening when we went to photograph the Homa family at Goose Rocks Beach. While we were waiting to see what the skies would do we let one of the boys have a snack and I actually love the image of him with the pb all over his face..too cute. We first met this family when Leah and Ryan got married and we photographed little Theo when he was a newborn, now he is the big cousin! It was so fun to see them all again! Here are a few favs:

Moira and Mike’s garden wedding

Moira and Mike had a beautiful garden wedding on May 16 at the Captain Fairfield Inn in Kennebunkport, Maine. Their dog Gage was a big part of their celebration and even carried the rings down the isle. The tent was from my favorite, Sperry tents and the caterer was the extremely talented Bill and Robb from Silver Tureen. The flowers were very pretty and such vibrant colors from Blooms and Heirlooms. The weather held out nicely for the outdoor festivities and the guests had a blast on the dance floor. Chris and I had a great time with everyone and here are a few favs.
