Baby Sophia enters the world

Sophia has the best parents, Ev and Sam who happen to be former wedding clients of ours. Often we do become friends with the brides and grooms that we photograph and that is the case with these two. We were so excited for them to bring their new addition to the studio. She did wonderfully for nearly three weeks old! I am excited to photograph her growing up. Here are a few favs:

wedding details by bumblebee

Barbie is one of our bride’s who has started a wedding planning business called Bumblebee weddings. Here are some of the cool details from her wedding here in Maine. I really loved the sailboat she had as a guest book and her flower choices were my favorites. It was such a fun wedding I will be posting more from it soon!

Canadians invade Goose Rocks Beach

This is one of our favorite families and are always so much fun to photograph. They spend a few weeks on Goose Rocks Beach each summer and of course there is only one day when the entire family is in town, this year it happened to be a very lovely one. Here are a few favs:

Engagement Session on Ogunquit Beach

Kristyn and Sean will be getting married next May and they drove up from Massachusetts to have a fun session on the beach with their son, Ryan. He was so cute running around chasing the seagulls! Kristyn is a good friend of one of our recent bride’s Mariesa and we had such a great time at her wedding in August that I’m sure Kristyn and Sean will be dancing up a storm! Here are a few favs:

Awesome 4th of July wedding

Laura and Chris had a very festive wedding on July 4th this year(I realize I am WAY behind in blogging). The cake was designed by Chris and made by Let Them Eat Cake and was so amazing I thought it deserved a few photos of it here. The flowers were so great and were made by Flowers by Christine. The reception was at the Cliff House in Ogunquit, Maine. It was a strange weather day where we had rain, sun, overcast and even a rainbow. It was such a fun wedding and looking at the photos brought it all back. Here are a few favs:

Meg and Hugh

Meg and Hugh had their wedding in late June on one of the nicest days of that month! The girls got ready at Meg’s house in Kittery with an amazing view of the Harbor and a cute tire swing. The ceremony was at St. Mary’s in Wells, Maine and the reception was at the Red Barn at Outlook Farm. The crowd were mostly friends from Boston College so a group shot was in order and they really knew how to dance and sing as you can see in the final photo. The images of the Grandmothers’ just after the ceremony are so nice and we try to get a good shot of all the older folks at a wedding every time. The Red Barn is such a great venue with all the wood and high ceilings, it really is a special place. Here are just a few favs:

Dockrill Family at the beach

This is the first year we have had the pleasure of photographing the Dockrill Family and it was so fun. I loved that the Mom and Dad did a few alone and even got in the water! Here are a few favs:

Molly class of 2010

Senior portrait season is here and we are photographing many seniors everyday. We do have some appointments left and are able to turn around the images quickly as we own our own digital lab. No waiting days to get the yearbook photo back, it is ready the next day. Here are a few images Chris took at Cape Porpoise Pier yesterday of Molly. I must say it is interesting to photograph a high school senior that you also took baby photo of. I don’t feel like we have been in business for 18 years, am I really getting older?
