Beach Portraits in Florida

Recently I had the chance to photograph Barbie Tilman from Bumblebee weddings and her daughter along with some of her family members on the beach in Florida. It was so much fun that Chris and I will be traveling to Palm Beach over the weekend of February 19- 22 to do a limited amount of beach sessions. Please contact me if you are interested in a time slot. Here are just a few of my favorites:

2009 wedding couples

Here is a collage of all our 2009 couples. It was a wonderful year with the BEST clients ever! We love what we do and I enjoyed looking over last year’s weddings and remembering each one! On to 2010.

Travel

Chris and I will begin this new year traveling to the Music City for the Digital Wedding Forum convention and the Imaging USA expo. Education is a very important part of owning a photography studio and we take the time and resources to make sure we are staying current on all the trends for 2010. We will also be traveling to Vegas (baby) for the annual Wedding and Portrait Photographers convention and attending Inspire Boston. Lots of learning is going on in this off season so we can be the best we can be this year. Chris is also in the process of building a super cool photobooth that will be available for all 2010 weddings and events, photos to come. picture-4.jpg

Destination wedding in Cape May

Way back in October we photographed Jean and Brandon’s seaside wedding in the lovely town of Cape May, NJ. Jean and Brandon were guests at Erica and Gunner’s wedding here in Kennebunkport and when they asked us to come to Cape May to photograph their wedding we were so excited. Chris and I have never been to that area of New Jersey and it was really beautiful. The Congress Hall where the ceremony and reception took place was a grand historic hotel that was a perfect backdrop to their events. We arrived the day before and were able to capture their rehearsal on the lawn and attend their dinner that evening. Brandon has three children who were really fun and together with Jean they make a great family, we tried to take a lot of family shots of them together. We also met some wonderful people and enjoyed reconnecting with old friends Erica, Gunner and their new son. We were not able to stay for the entire weekend as we had to leave after their reception and travel directly to Martha’s Vineyard for Amrita and Steve’s wedding, which is blogged below. I chose a few to highlight here and there are many more on our website under destination weddings.
