Paul Morse speaks at Professional Photographers of America

Paul Morse, a close friend of ours and former White House photographer for 7 years spoke recently at the Nashville PPA convention. Of course we went to support our good friend and we were blown away by the evening event. There were over 1,000  chairs set up in the ballroom and the sponsor, White House Custom Color hired Bill Clinton and George W Bush impersonators to entertain the crowd prior to the talk. They had made cakes with some of Paul’s images on them and they handed out ice cream bars as people walked in. It was a well planned event to say the least. Paul spoke with another former White House photographer and an Associated Press photographer and they all were able to showcase their work. My favorite of course was Paul’s photo of the President riding his bike on the South lawn of the White House. Chris and I were so proud of Paul and you can see his work at paulmorse.com. Paul is also showcased in a new book highlighting President Obama’s inauguration weekend which is just great. Here are a few shots from the event.
