Recently I had the chance to photograph Barbie Tilman from Bumblebee weddings and her daughter along with some of her family members on the beach in Florida. It was so much fun that Chris and I will be traveling to Palm Beach over the weekend of February 19- 22 to do a limited amount of beach sessions. When Matt contacted me about his idea to get photos of his proposal to his girlfriend I was thrilled. We concocted a plan and while Jess thought they were heading to Maine from New York City to visit friends, Matt had an entire plan worked out for them. They got out of the car and I received an “we r here” text from Matt, so Chris and I pretended to be smooching on the beach while secretly photographing the two of them. He had me put out a table on the beach with a special book on it for her. She was so surprised that she was speechless for the first 30 minutes. We then took some fun shots of them enjoying the beach before the sun set then it was off to their next part of the trip. Matt had rented one of the houses at Hidden Pond Resort. We went back with them to open some bubbly and then she learned about the rest of the secret weekend. It was such a wonderful proposal and I am sure they have a wonderful fun life together ahead of them. Here are just a few favs:
Meghan and Dimitri had their wedding directly on Goose Rocks Beach on a day where the weather was very sketchy. It was raining when I arrived at the Ocean Woods Resort and it continued to rain, then stop, then rain, then get foggy. The bride and groom wanted to wait it out with pressure from all family members who wanted to move it indoors. Well they stuck to the original plan and it worked out wonderfully. It was very foggy when I arrived at the beach, but when Chris and the girls arrived it was just gorgeous. After the ceremony we took a few beach shots then we went over to a farm on Route 9 that overlooks the Marsh and really got some great images. The reception was held under a tent at Ocean Woods Resort and the flowers were made by Blooms and Heirlooms. It was a great day and here are a few favs:
This was our second year photographing the Potter Family and we had a new addition. The smallest Potter, Bancroft was in his mommy’s tummy when we did their portraits last Fall. These boys are so cute! Here are a few favs:
This is one of our favorite families and are always so much fun to photograph. They spend a few weeks on Goose Rocks Beach each summer and of course there is only one day when the entire family is in town, this year it happened to be a very lovely one. Here are a few favs:
Kristyn and Sean will be getting married next May and they drove up from Massachusetts to have a fun session on the beach with their son, Ryan. He was so cute running around chasing the seagulls! Kristyn is a good friend of one of our recent bride’s Mariesa and we had such a great time at her wedding in August that I’m sure Kristyn and Sean will be dancing up a storm! Here are a few favs:

The Dumigan Family recently visited Goose Rocks Beach and we captured some cute moments for them. We had a very nice overcast sky with great clouds and adorable children, what more could you want?
We love photographing weddings, but it is just as fun to photograph couple celebrating 50 years or more! The Baker Family was in Ogunquit last week for just such a celebration. We were able to photograph the extended family as well as each individual family and the kids. They were such great folks from all over the country. See why we love our profession?
